Cynthia won an Emmy in 1998 for her documentary “A Real Life Horse Whisperer,” which told the tale of Monty Roberts, who helped revolutionize horse training with his nonviolent techniques. Cynthia grew raised in Yorktown, Virginia, and graduated from James Madison University with a B.A. in communications. She has worked in news reporting for almost 35 years, beginning in radio as an award-winning morning news anchor and news director and progressing to tv as an editor, reporter, and analyst. Cynthia worked 13 years as the evening news anchor at the FOX owned and operated TV station in Greensboro/Winston-Salem/High Point, North Carolina, before joining WTVT in 1997.
