Nic Robertson is an American award-winning journalist who presently works for CNN as the international diplomatic editor. Speaking of his career in journalism, Nic began working for CNN in 1990 and is presently the London-based network’s international diplomatic editor. Nic has primarily covered war and terrorism throughout the world, with a concentration on Afghanistan, Syria, Libya, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and the former Yugoslavia. He covered the breakup of Yugoslavia as a producer and reported from Baghdad, Iraq, during the First Gulf War in the 1990s. According to reports, Robertson was one of very few Western broadcast journalists reporting from Afghanistan at the time of the September 11 attacks in 2001
